This Saturday, 11/23, from 11am to 2pm, Rainier Greenways will be hanging out at Tin Umbrella Coffee, to chat with YOU and hear YOUR ideas on how we could create safer, friendlier streets for all, right here, in Hillman City!
Like, what are your thoughts on adding crosswalks & signals, bike-friendly, pedestrian-friendly improvements, right here on Rainier Ave & S Findlay, to safely connect kids to their schools, bikers to quiet routes, a community to local businesses (instead of the risk-life-and-limb to scramble across Rainier Ave, that we all know now)!
To help us all try to envision safer, friendlier streets for all in Hillman City, (and, maybe, have a little fun in the process), you’ll get to enjoy a volunteer ‘crossing guard’ patrol across Rainier Ave S & Findlay Street (in front of Tin Umbrella Coffee) this Saturday! <3
Come down and see what a difference safety can make. (And help us make some fun photos to capture the need & desire for safer streets, for everyone, here in Hillman City!)
Can’t make it on Saturday? Share your input now (or any day) here: http://www.gorvgreenways.com/
